We recognize that our customers, visitors, users, and others who visit our website (collectively referred to as “Users”) value their privacy. This document therefore contains important information regarding the policies we follow when processing personal data.

When do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data when you submit a contact form, subscribe to the newsletter, or post a comment, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”). When you submit a contact form, we process the following personal data:

  • E-mail address
  • Name and surname
  • Phone
  • Message text

This personal data must be processed in order to prepare a service offer, negotiate such an offer, or respond to an inquiry you have submitted. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation. The Controller will process this personal data for the duration of contract negotiations, up to a maximum of 1 year from the date of your inquiry, unless you provide consent for further processing. If you subscribe to our newsletters, we process the following personal data:

  • E-mail address

We process this personal data for the purpose of sending you marketing communications containing new articles from our blog. We retain your email address for 5 years. We send you commercial communications based on the consent you have provided. You can easily unsubscribe from these communications at any time. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.

Who else might have access to your personal data?

The controller works with other entities (processors) that may have access to your personal data.

What are your rights?

Please note that under the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

  • Request information from us about what personal data we process, or request a copy of that personal data,
  • request an explanation from us regarding the processing of personal data,
  • request access to this information from us and have it updated or corrected,
  • request that we delete this personal data – however, such deletion will result in the termination of contract negotiations and will only be carried out if the interests of the joint controllers do not override your right to privacy,
  • If you have any doubts regarding compliance with obligations related to the processing of personal data, please contact us, the Office for Personal Data Protection, or, if necessary, a court.

Statement on the use of cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files created by a web server and stored on your computer via your browser. When you return to the same website later, your browser sends the stored cookie back, allowing the server to retrieve all the information it previously stored about you. The vast majority of websites use cookies to function.

How cookies are classified

Cookies can be categorized based on who places them on your website, i.e.:

  • First-party cookies – their scope is limited to the domain of the website you are viewing. These cookies are considered safer.
  • Third-party cookies – these are placed via a script from a different domain. This allows users to be tracked across domains. They are often used to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising channels.

Based on their lifespan, cookies can be categorized as follows:

  • Short-term (session cookies) – these are deleted from your computer when you close your browser
  • Long-term (persistent cookies) – remain after closing the browser and are only deleted after a very long period of time (depending on your browser and cookie settings). You can also delete them manually.

Depending on their purpose, cookies can be divided as follows:

  1. Technical – enable basic website functions (e.g., logging in) or page functions (e.g., playing videos, sharing content, etc.)
  2. Analytical – used to collect non-anonymous data about user behavior. Based on this data, we can modify the website to make it easier for you to use.
  3. Remarketing – used for targeting
  4. Conversion cookies – these help us evaluate the success of our campaigns.

What we use cookies for

We use the following cookies on our website:

  1. Technical cookies – first-party, short-term. These ensure the basic technical functionality of the website, i.e., logging in, using services, etc.
  2. Google Tag Manager – this service is only used for easy management of tracking codes; it does not use any cookies itself and does not record any data. Terms and conditions for data processing by Google Tag Manager.
  3. Google Analytics – first-party, long-term. These are used to generate anonymous statistics about website usage. The data obtained from cookies is processed by Google LLC. Terms and conditions for data processing by Google Analytics.
  4. Google AdWords – first-party, long-term, remarketing, and conversion. Terms and conditions for data processing by AdWords.
  5. Sklik – third parties, long-term, remarketing and conversion. Our website uses retargeting technology from the Sklik service operated by Seznam.cz, a.s. This allows us to show visitors who have already expressed interest in our products our advertisements on the Seznam.cz, a.s. advertising network. Terms and conditions for data processing by Sklik.

We never place sensitive or personal data in cookies. We may place a user ID in cookies, but this does not allow third parties to identify a specific person.

How to adjust cookie usage

Deletion

You can delete cookies in your browser – usually located in the “History” section of visited websites.

Blocking

Browsers allow you to block cookies from being placed on your computer. In this case, however, the functionality of these websites will be limited. Information about cookie settings in your browser can be found on the website of the specific browser provider:

This website uses Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. Information about your use of the website, together with the contents of the cookie, will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

The Google Analytics service is extended by related advertising features provided by Google, namely:

  • Google Display Network reports,
  • remarketing (displaying ads on the content network based on products viewed),
  • extended demographic reports (reporting of anonymous demographic data),
  • user id – a Google Analytics feature that allows us to measure and analyze user behavior across devices. We use a string of numbers or letters as the user id; we never use personal data that would allow third parties to identify a specific person.

How to disable Google Analytics tracking

If you do not want to provide anonymous data about your use of the website to Google Analytics, you can use a plugin provided by Google. Once installed in your browser and activated, no further data will be sent.
